How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stage?
Pre-Production:
- Blogger- this was the documentation of our work, it helped us give and receive feedback to and from our peers, and collect things that inspired us for our video. Teacher blogs where also a big help.
- Email - Enabled us to email our location to organise dates and times for us to book a studio.
- Google Chrome- Used for general research and gathering ideas.
- Youtube - Main source of inspiration, enabled us to view similar pre existing videos and instrument tutorials.
- Apple Mac, Windows, Standard HP computer.
- Animoto - Allowed us to inovativley produce our 25 word pitch.
- Google Images - Helped us to form ideas for our own video conceming ideas a variety of things such a styling and layout of the band.
- Paint- This helped us to save screenshots.
Production:
- Iphone 5s - for taking photos of filming on the day and behind the scenes.
- Four Artificial lights - This was used to make most shots brighter, reduce shadow and retain continuity.
- Panosonic HV/v700 full HD camera - Enabled us to achieve great, crisp shots with great clarity.
- Spotify- to play accompanying music when filming
- Photoshop - Used when we created magazine advert and digipak.
Post Production:
- Youtube- Used to post the draft and final video on.
- Final Cut Pro- Used to fully edit our video
- Blogger - Used to evaluate our experience , and used as a platform to exhibit the music video on.
